XHunger is a global movement dedicated to helping end hunger by inspiring the next generation of servant leaders and community volunteers. Founded in Knoxville, Tennessee in 2010 through the Scarecrow Foundation, XHunger was built on a simple mission: support existing food pantries, food banks, and hunger organizations by providing their two greatest needs, volunteers and funding.
From the beginning, XHunger has operated as an all-volunteer 501(c)3 nonprofit with a zero-budget philosophy, ensuring that 100% of event and campaign proceeds directly benefit the organizations and communities we serve. Through over 850 creative gatherings, events, and awareness campaigns, we collaborate and build partnerships with schools, universities, businesses, athletes, media outlets, and community leaders. XHunger has helped mobilize volunteers, engage students, and create meaningful support for those facing food insecurity.
Today, XHunger continues to expand its mission worldwide by connecting people to campus and local pantries, encouraging volunteerism with our L.U.V.S program thus building a culture of purpose-driven leadership focused on helping the helpers and creating lasting community impact.
